Our stunning, personalized Challah boards are the perfect addition to any Shabbas meal and make perfect wedding or Hanukkah presents. All of our maple, walnut and cherry cutting boards are sourced from 100% North American hardwoods (maple, walnut and cherry), and are hand inspected, engraved, sanded and hand-finished in our workshop in Texas. This is truly a "Made in America" product. Please be aware that natural wood products can and will vary in color, grain and engraving tone. Your finished board will vary in appearance from the representative image. No matter, we are sure your board will exceed your expectations!
This board comes with Shabbat Shalom engraved in Hebrew in the bottom center of the board. Font choice for the Hebrew can be changed - see Hebrew font choices in the listing pics. We can add additional English personalization to the board in either the bottom right or bottom left corners of the board (or both corners). In the special instructions section, let us know If you want additional personalization and which corner of the board you'd like it. Also, choose an English font for this additional personalization (font choices are in listing pics). If a font choice isn't selected, we'll select a font that we believe will work best with the personalization. Example: The Schwartz Family (bottom left); Est. 2024 (bottom right); Font # 9
If your board size has an * by it, this means that it has a juice groove. We will engrave on the juice groove side unless you tell us in the buyer notes to engrave on the non-juice groove side.
We treat all of our boards with USDA food-grade mineral oil prior to being shipped. Your Challah board is ready for use when you open your package! Always hand wash your Challah board; never put it in a dishwasher as this will cause the board to crack and warp. Detailed care instructions are included with your board. If you intend to cut on the board, we recommend cutting on the non-engraved side to prevent the knife marks from showing on the wood, and to help preserve the beauty of the board.
We offer this board in various woods (Maple, Cherry or Walnut) and in various sizes. Please select the size you want in the drop down menu, when ordering. All sizes are approximate and may vary slightly from board to board.
If this is a gift and you'd like to include a personalized, wooden engraved gift card, please select the option that notes "Add engraved card" on the drop down menu, and include your gift message in the gift message box. The engraved gift card adds a lovely personalized touch to the gift, and is something the recipient can keep forever.
