Each name plate is made from reclaimed whiskey barrel staves and every single one is unique. This images are representative of what you get, but every piece of wood is different and will vary in size, color and thickness. What you can be certain of is that it will be amazing - and everyone will want to know where you got it!

Each of our name plates are cut by us from genuine whiskey barrels. First we break down the full barrel and separate the staves by size. We then scrape and grind the staves to remove the loose barrel char. Next we sand the stave to remove splinters and dark surface marks. After sanding, we cut the staves to size and re-sand the edges. Following sanding, we apply multiple coats of finish to seal the wood and the back-side char (you wouldn't want THAT kind of mess on your desk, would you?). FINALLY, the desk plate is ready for your personalization - we laser engrave the desk plate with your name & title (or whatever else you've requested), and then give it one final coat to seal the engraving. Your personalized whiskey barrel desk plate will last a lifetime!
