Our mezuzah cases are hand made in our workshop from Mediterranean olive wood and resin. The cases are CNC machined, hand sanded, and the "Shin" is laser engraved on each mezuzah case. A beautiful beveled edge is added and gives the case an elegant look. Finally, our mezuzah cases are hand polished with Odie's Oil to give it a rich, long-lasting finish.
Each mezuzah case comes in a silver gift box, and includes a non-kosher scroll (Klaf). We also include a piece of clear indoor/outdoor 3M double sided tape to cover the back of the case and to adhere to your doorframe. We recommend gently cleaning the area of the door frame with rubbing alcohol prior to hanging for proper permanent adhesion.
Since these are hand-made, each mezuzah case will be unique and the resin and wood tones will vary from case to case. Since olive wood is highly figured with irregular grain, small imperfections that may appear are considered normal character. We suggest these be hung inside; however, if hung outside we recommend that they be in a weather protected area if possible to help preserve the wood. The Odie's Oil finish is long-lasting, and should need no maintenance if hung indoors. If hung outdoors, we recommend re-treating your case with Odie's Oil if the finish ever becomes dull.

* Smoke (frosty/clear with swirls of black resin)

Scroll opening on back (approximate size):
3 3/4" long x 3/8" wide (small case);
4 1/4" long x 3/8" wide (large case)
Scroll size (included with case): approximately 3" x 3" - comes flat, will need to be rolled by purchaser and inserted into case.
