Each stoneware mug is expertly sand carved by hand, by us, resulting in a DEEP ETCH (not just engraved like many other seller's products) finish that is both permanent and fade-resistant. These mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, allowing for easy cleaning and continued enjoyment of your mugs for many years to come. All engravings/carvings are white/off-white (color of the underlying ceramic).
We will etch/carve your mug so that the decoration is facing outwards and we offer 2 choices of direction - left handed or right handed. However, if you want the engraving to face you (rather than facing outwards), be sure to select the hand that you wouldn't normally hold the mug in, so that the etching faces you.
